Description
The Vesuvio Edition of the 993 was only available on Carrera S models, and approximately 60 units were completed in total. All of them were finished in Vesuvio Metallic (L40X) with Steel Grey-accented door handles and mirror caps. This car was also specified from the factory with Aerokit spoilers, the rear of which takes the place of the Steel Grey-accented split rear grille otherwise found on the Vesuvio Edition.
Additional details include a power-operated sunroof, LED fog lamps, and Turbo S-style front brake ducts. The body seals and door seals were replaced last year along with the headlights, lid struts, and stone guards, and a paint correction was performed at that time.
The 18″ hollow-spoke “Technology” wheels were refinished and mounted with Continental ExtremeContact Sport 02 tires within the last year. Bilstein PSS9 coilovers were added at that time, and braking is handled by Porsche-branded calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners.
The cabin features black all-leather seats as well as stainless-steel Carrera-script sill plates and aluminum accents for the shifter and handbrake lever. The front seats are fully power-adjustable, and other features include a Porsche Classic head unit, a Hi-Fi sound system, cruise control, and air conditioning.
