It is powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter V8 paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle and is finished in McLaren Orange over Carbon Black leather upholstery. Equipment includes the IRIS Infotainment Package, front and rear parking sensors, carbon-fiber exterior accents, an active rear spoiler, dihedral doors, a folding hardtop, ProActive Chassis Control, Launch Control, carbon-ceramic brakes, a front-axle lift system, heated power-adjustable seats, navigation, a Meridian surround sound system, and a touchscreen infotainment system.
Special 50th Anniversary Edition-specific 19″ and 20″ split-spoke wheels are finished in Satin Black and mounted with Michelin tires. Stopping power is provided by six- and four-piston calipers over carbon-ceramic rotors measuring 15.5″ and 15″ front and rear, respectively. The car is equipped with a front-axle lift system, Launch Control, and Electronic Stability Control (ESC), which includes Winter, Normal, Sport, and Track modes.
