Description
This 1997 Porsche 911 Turbo S is finished in black over black leather and is one of 176 examples produced for the North American market. Power is delivered to all four wheels via a twin-turbocharged 3.6L flat-six linked with a six-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential. The car is factory equipped with larger turbochargers than the standard Turbo as well as an extra oil cooler, integrated quarter panel scoops, a sunroof, revised exterior aerodynamics, larger brakes with yellow calipers, power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, carbon-fiber interior trim, and a CD stereo.
All Turbo S models were built by the Porsche Exclusive department and can be distinguished from a standard 993 Turbo by their quarter panel intakes, yellow brake calipers, biplane rear spoiler, four-tipped exhaust system, and Aerokit front spoiler with revised venting and fog light placement. This example is finished in black and also features headlight washers, a power sunroof, and a rear window wiper.
Hollow-spoke 18″ wheels are mounted with Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires measuring 225/40 up front and 285/30 at the rear.
The hard-back sport seats feature body-color shells and are trimmed in black leather, while carbon-fiber accents the door panels, dashboard, and center console. Amenities include power-adjustable front seats, cruise control, automatic climate control, folding rear seats, Turbo-branded floor mats, and a CD stereo.
